What is Momentum1000?

On that day, a community of individuals, organizations, and institutions celebrated successes to date, reinvigorated discussion on the MDGs themselves, and began to advance a post-2015 development framework that builds on #MDGmomentum.

IYC in the Philippines is known as the Pandaigdigang Sangguniang Kabataan or simply IYC Pilipinas. The movement started with different youth leaders coming from youth organizations who believed that young Filipinos should be given the opportunity to be given a voice and representation to the United Nations General Assembly.
